Bituminous Coal
As the second highest quality of coal, after Anthracite, Bituminous Coal is the most abundant type globally. Due to its high carbon and low moisture content it is ideal in the production of Steel, Cement, as well as in electricity generation.
Logistics
We offer a comprehensive logistical and distribution solutions to our clients. Through our various strategic business alliances with established partners, we have built the necessary technical and operational capacity to respond to our client’s requirements in the most effective and cost-efficient manner.
Our partnerships with leading industry supply chain management technology solutions companies, allows us to reliably serve and give confidence to our clients efficiently.
Quality Control
Coal properties vary, even within a single coal seam and this is due to reasons such as coalification (a geographical process which leads to a gradual formation of coal) history and mining methods.
Therefore, the variance in these coal characteristics will have an impact in the efficiency and production of steam and power generation requirements of our clients. We therefore pay a special attention to our quality controls and management of coal quality.

Washing
A process of whereby coal undergoes a wet process through a wash plant to improve its quality.
Proximate Analysis
A process to determine the moisture, volatile matter, ash, fixed-carbon content, and calorific value of a coal.
Ultimate Analysis
A chemical process which measures weight percent of carbon, sulphur, nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen.
Sampling
Samples are taken daily for analysis.
